Free Village health camps

Now a day, medical camps are frequently organized in most of the cities and even in small towns. The main objective is said to be spreading awareness regarding health among people. In these health camps we have provided necessary information about their health and well-being. Another important thing is that prior to holding such camps, the target audience should be identified to make the health campaign or camp a real success.

To control the spread of diseases and reduce the growing rates of mortality due to lack of adequate health facilities, special attention needs to be given to the health care in rural areas.

Our Medical camps provide free medical advice, medicine to the unfortunate people and refer for specialized treatment or surgery whenever it is required. These camps make sure people are getting healthcare at the right time, and seeing the doctor early enough before a small health problem turns serious.

We have performed free village health camps in nearby villages with the main objective to screen the patients in each and every village of the taluk at their door step, give health related awareness, distribute medicines to treat common diseases and refer, as the case may be for surgery/treatment.

As a part of our efforts to make basic healthcare accessible for all, Punya Hospital, Channapatna conducted free health camps in villages. Many of these villages have no healthcare facilities or even a qualified healthcare worker.  Volunteers from the hospital – doctors, nurses and paramedics- screened the patients and provided necessary medications.
